Handspun

Superwash BFL from artsygal's shop In one of her unnamed colorways. The way it ended up on the bobbin made much of the blue covered up but its a lovely bright blue. My process for this is to spin it to the thickness it wants spun (single with make about a 2 ply sock weight, all i can spin anymore) and to split the roving in half, spin one half from end to end, then split the other half to as thin a sliver as I can and spin that, so that on one ply there are long stretches of color and on the other there are short bits so that all the colors will ply together and possibly so something neat knit up.
