The weather is on crack

So yesterday it is sunny all day, but with flakes of snow floating about and never really making it to the ground. then, suddenly around half past five, it hits. the picture below is what we got in 5 minutes of blowing snow (complete with lightning, freeakay) after about 5 minutes it stopped, and I went to dinner, during which it started and stopped a few more times, never very long but blowing scary hard and heavy snow. Today it was just bitter cold and windy.
