change and mourning the loss

Last night my fiance and I broke up. things have not been going well for a while, most the reasons are pretty personal, but it was amicable and we still love each other very much, we both need time to get our lives moving in the direction we want, time to grow up and gain more maturity, and time to rebuild the friendship our relationship was based on. we had been working so hard trying to do so much and our friendship grew apart. since the break i think we have talked more than ever. and it seems very strange to end one part of a relationship to strengthen another, but we do not know what the future hold, perhaps our lives will one day be at a place where we could start afresh at the romance but until then i still have my dearest friend who i was losing.
