The star attraction, Knit Picks Shimmer in the color way deep woods. this was the only picture that was anywhere near accurate, but I caught the color dead-on as soon as I put it aginst my blue jeans, instead of the reddish couch. I can't wait till i find the right lace pattern for this. I only have one skein, so I am thinking about a lacy scarf.
this is for my first baby sweater. It is a little more purple in real life. I don't like pastels all that much, and i think babies can see bright colors better, so I got a good, bright but girly color for this baby.

great choices! it's hard for me to to picture what the green marled yarn will look like when knit.

Oooh, that Shimmer is lovely. I agree--I prefer strong colors for babies and I enjoy the knitting more.
