There was some bad crap going down at the end of the Mesozoic

Learned that in class today. Mass Extinctions (pre-dinosaurs) what fun. My In-class knitting is this... A second sock, a footie from a 2nd half of a ball of yarn.
This is what I am spinning, it's interlacements wool. I am spinning and knitting it up for Kilt-Boy's Mama. I think the colors look like peeps (not quite true colors in the pic, sue me, it's snowing)
I am also spending at least and hour a night knitting on the Kilt hose, they progress, but not in a photo interesting way.
