so what have I been up to?

I've been sorta distracted, no idea how such a thing might happen. And to amuse my masses of fans I thought I'd post some of the things I've been playing with. On Friday I sat down with the end of a bobbin of yarn that was left over from plying, and I had a hook there. I figured out how to do what I believe is a single crochet stitch. I'm not in love with crochet, but I figure i shouldn't limit my knitting projects to those without crochet edgeings.

these are some old pictures I've noticed a trend of me posting pics of me dressed nice (or reenactment dress) and looking very girly and crap. these are a bit closer to the truth. Most of my life is spent in a tee-shirt and if it's like today, the jeans that I've been wearing since Sunday. Yes, many of my activities are typically feminine, but I am outdoorsy and strong and not afraid of hard work.
