long time no see

This is going to be a boring post, I am still in dial up land, I will enter the world of the living again on Sunday. The last week or so has been rough, I am fighting a cold/ear infection/crud thing and I am just now getting better. I have been knitting though. The salad dressing socks are finished and unpictured, and I have started the second lace chart of the moth shawl. It's not taking as long as I expected, does that mean I am becoming a better lace knitter? or that the shawl is not as complicated as it looks? I don't know the answer. I guess I need to start thinking about another big project for when I finish this. I am seeing a simple V neck sweater in a nice tweedy yarn. or maybe an intarsia hat?
