I just re-read this book. I have to say This Is IT. If I only were allowed one knitting book I would own this one. It not only has good knitting advice and several "recipies" for socks, scarves, hats, and shawls, but it is funny. This isn't a beginning book, there is no knit and purl instructions so I think this would be a great gift for a intermediate knitter who hasn't progressed beyond the basics or the expert who just needs more knitting stuff.
as for knitting i have finished the cuff, which is a total of like 6 rounds.
I'll be gone for the weekend. when i come back there will be a new knitty in no time.
