let's do a little better this time.

sorry about my picture trouble. I am having difficulty remembering that what I see in edit mode, isn't what ends up on the page. Also I am new to the camera and to picture posts.

I realize that you don't know much about me. I could go on and on about myself, but that would be boring. I will be 19 years old a week from tomorrow. I have been knitting a couple three years now. I am engaged to the lovely and handsome Capt. Boots

I attend Northern Kentucky University, which is near Cincinatti. I have heard about knitting guilds in the area, but as I do not drive I still have not been to any LYS or met many knitters. There are a few knitters on campus, and I am planning on starting a knitting circle next semester. I am not a very experienced knitter, I knit continental and I have no idea what my favorite cast on is called, i just know that it has no problem keeping up with ribbing and lace. I have managed to restart my roomate's knitting bug, and she is impatiently waiting for the yarn to finish her current project, which is either a huge scarf or a wrap.

Love the red eye. become one with the red eye. I allways have red eye, does that make me evil? I was very hiper when that picture was taken as my camera had just arrived right after I finished my first pair of socks, my geek glee was combined with knitter's glee and college student glee at getting a package in the mail.


this is what I have accomplished in the last 24 hours.

my dorm room has horrible light at the moment, the yarn is a creamy white color. BELLEZZA COLLECTION DOLCETTO wool/cotton/nylon this is a really soft yarn and I just cast on 90 sts and did 2x2 rib for three cables on a purl background. it will be very soft, pretty and warm. I love hats and I am a very greedy knitter, can't help it I think it comes from the fact that I am not particlularly prolific. though I think I might have enough sock yarn left for a pair of cpt. boot socks.
